| Job Duties: | Under the supervision of Daycare Director, the Childcare Workers plan, coordinate and implement the child development program that will provide children and families with comprehensive quality services that meet or exceed the needs of the working families of children from 6 weeks to 12 years old in compliance with CNMI Child Care Licensing in line with Daycare Mission & Vision. Maintain a safe play environment. Engage/Participate in children’s play activities with active supervision for infant & toddler. Communicate with children’s parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors and related issues. Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts. Dress children and change diapers. Keep records of individual children, including daily observations, and information about activities, meals served and medication administered through our daily health check logs, care logs, lesson plan and medication administration form. Conduct Developmental screening 30 to 45 days from the admission date to identify delays and recommend action based on the assessment. Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting and toilet habits. Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas. Perform general administrative task such as taking attendance and making phone calls. Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Performs housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing and sanitizing. Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students in daycare environment and community. Maintains a cooperative working relationship with children, parents, staff and public. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High school graduate, with at least 6 months of relevant work experience as child care worker. Child Care Worker is regulated by CNMI DCCA Licensing and Child Care Development fund that requires all childcare worker to have 30 hours of training and technical assistance, training on health and safety, emergency preparedness, CPR Certification,health certification/food handler certification, police clearance and continues training and certifications that providers need to possess. |
