Job Duties: • Prepare, examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards, performs financial data backups. Report to management the regarding the finance of the company. • Compute federal/local taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements. Establish chart of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Records and audit restaurant/building sales report, reconciles daily cash/card sales against company and bank financial records. • Post Restaurant/building daily sales and vendor invoices on company’s accounting system ad corresponding QuickBooks accounting ledger. Prepare timely payments for all vendors, prepare month end BGRT and Financial Statement, Year End Financial statements, bank reconciliations (monthly/yearly). • Conducts internal audit of company financials, analyze business operations, trends. Costs, revenues and expenses to provide advice to management .Computes payroll of employees based on their time cards determining gross wages, taxes to be withheld and other deductions as mandated by law. • Prepares permit and license application as required by Federal and CNMI government. Prepares deposit slip and make deposits to company bank account.
High School Diploma Required? No
Qualification Requirements: Must have Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degree or related field (maybe foreign equivalent). Three Years related work experience. Quick Books Accounting software proficiency required. Microsoft office application proficiency required. Must be proficient in tax returns preparations of all applicable CNMI and Federal taxes. Flexible, can work with minimal or no supervision and must be able to meet deadlines. Effective follow-up skills, demonstrate a highly professional attitude and personal presentation in all verbal and written communications. Knowledge in utilizing various office equipment and software. Willing to work flexible hours including holiday and weekends. Certificate from previous employer is required Valid Driver’s license and Police Clearance required.
