Job Duties: | Design conceptual ads and mock-ups ads for discussion with potential clients. Create designs, concepts, and sample layout based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. Interacts and communicate with sales representative to create conceptual presentations. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material. Select layout style. Photo editing and color corrections as part of graphic manipulations. Confer with clients to discuss and determine final layout design. Use computer software to generate new images. Maintain and organized and complete archive of graphic images, photos or project files. Responsible for the layout of the weekly Church paper; "The North Star". Records and transmits live Sunday masses and Bishops weekly program in the local cable station/ Maintains and updates the diocesan website. Provide video and or new coverage in the parishes. Work closely with the Chief editor, publisher, and sales representative on North Star related tasks. Perform other duties and responsibilities of similar nature as instructed by the Bishop and/or Editor. |

Qualification Requirements: | Required training in vocational schools,, related on-the-job training experience, or an associate degree. Previous work related skill, knowledge or experience is required. Skilled in video operation, production and editing, photography editing, website development and maintenance, mural, adobe systems, micro soft office. Also must have skills in critical thinking, time management, speaking and active listening. |
