Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Duties: Maintains a safe, clean and orderly environment for patients and staff, assembles and prepare patient station, hemodialysis machine, dialyzers lines and dialysate bath as prescribed, accurately take and record vital signs and machine parameters throughout the treatment as well as pre and post dialysis, initiates, monitors and terminates hemodialysis treatment according to established policy and procedure, cannulates AVF,AVG and may initiate catheters after being deemed competent, obtain blood samples for lab studies as ordered, report pertinent adverse observations and incidents to charge nurse/head nurse, recognizes and reacts appropriately to common dialysis complications, responds to alarms and make appropriate adjustment during dialysis, maintains patient confidentiality at all times, carries out medical/nursing orders, in the provision of patient care, administers medications and blood products and records appropriately, participates in the development, implementation and evaluations of patient care plans, cleans and disinfect machines and used equipment as required, use standard precautions at all times, assist in training and orienting of new staff as needed, may performs administrative related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: MUST PASS NCLEX-RN W/CURRENT CNMI RN LICENSE, MUST HOLD A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING, ATTENDED A HEMODIALYSIS TRAINING PROGRAM, ONE TO TWO YEARS HEMODIALYSIS EXPERIENCE OR RELATED FIELD, ENGLISH SKILLS-PROFICIENT IN SPOKEN, WRITTEN AND COMPREHENSION, CERTIFICATION IN BASIC CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION, IN-SERVICE TRAINING W/BAXTER PHOENIX MACHINE, EXPERIENCE WITH AMERIWATER BICARBONATE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position beginning on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. The employer will make deductions from employee’s paycheck as required by law. THREE- FOURTHS GUARANTEE: The employer guarantees to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for a cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker voluntary abandoned of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
