Job Duties: maintains a safe, clean and orderly environment for patient and staff, assembles and prepare patient station. hemodialysis machines, dialyzers lines and dialysate bath as prescribed, assembles all necessary supplies and prepares the dialyzer and dialysate delivery system, accurately take and record vital signs and machine parameters throughout the treatment as well as pre and post dialysis, inserts fistula needles, cannulates AVF, AVG, initiates dialysis utilizing established access routes following the established policies and procedures, obtains blood samples for laboratory studies from established blood access routes, monitors and record vital symptoms of patient, monitors functioning of dialysis machines and is able to trouble shoots and take necessary actions as needed to prevent harm to the patient, initiates, monitors and terminates hemodialysis treatment according to established policy and procedure, actively participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of short and long-term patient care plans, demonstrates knowledge and skills needed to provide care appropriate to age, condition of patients, in consultation with the charge nurse, recognizes and reacts appropriately to common dialysis complications like hypotention, cramps, etc., reports pertinent adverse observations and incidents to charge nurse, maintains patient confidentiality at all times, stock all areas as required, cleans and disinfect machines, used equipment as required, use standard precautions at all times, assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, monitor herparin infusion-pump and administers NSS when needed during treatment, participates in all staff in-services and staff meetings, does patient teaching as needed, performs other related duties as assigned.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position beginning on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. The employer will make deductions from employee’s paycheck as required by law. THREE- FOURTHS GUARANTEE: The employer guarantees to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for a cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker voluntary abandoned of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
