| Job Duties: | Do on the spot assessment of the patient's condition and determine proper course of treatment; use backboards, spine boards, stretchers, stair chairs, wheelchairs, and restraints to immobilize patients and secure them inside the ambulance; help transfer patients to hospitals or clinics and/or other healthcare facilities and report their observations and first aid treatment before relinquishing the care to the doctors or nurses-in-charge; transport patients back to their residence after their treatment and relinquish the care to family members or caregivers; create a patient care report using EMS charts documenting the medical care given to the patient at the scene and en-route to the hospital. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have passed the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician; must have completed and passed the training of required number of hours from the state approved program; must have acquired cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification for Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR/AED); must be a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (as approved by Healthcare Professions Licensing Board (HCPLB) of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands; must have a clean criminal background; must know how to drive and must possess a valid CNMI Driver's License at all times; Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights/weekends/holidays. being computer literate (microsoft word/excel) and knowledge on how to use/operate quickbooks software); experienced in MedicalBilling and Coding and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) instructor is a plus. |
