Job Duties: | Assesses and decides if applications for insurance cover risks should be accepted and if so, what the terms of the acceptance are. Writing insurance policies and keeping detailed records of policies underwritten and decisions made. Sell various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of the insu rance company. Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the p hysical condition of the person or property to be insured, and to discuss any existing coverage. Call on pol icyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes, or to change beneficiaries. Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients. Ensure the policy requirements are fulfilled and the completion of appropriate forms. Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risk s. Explain advantages and disadvantages of various policies. Calculate premiums and establish payment method. Inspect property, examining its general condition and other characteristics, to decide if it is a good insurance risk. Oversees and manages all office procedures and other tasks as assigned to them. |

Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2022. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
