Job Duties: | SUPERVISE, COORDINATE, OR SCHEDULE THE ACTIVITIES OF CONSTRUCTION OR EXTRACTIVE WORKERS. READ SPECIFICATIONS, SUCH AS BLUEPRINTS, TO DETERMINE CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS OR TO PLAN PROCEDURES. INSPECT WORK PROGRESS, EQUIPMENT, OR CONSTRUCTION SITES TO VERIFY SAFETY OR TO ENSURE THAT SPECIFICATIONS ARE MET. LOCATE, MEASURE, AND MARK SITE LOCATIONS OR PLACEMENT OF STRUCTURES OR EQUIPMENT, USING MEASURING AND MARKING EQUIPMENT. COORDINATE WORK ACTIVITIES WITH OTHER CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ACTIVITIES. ASSIGN WORK TO EMPLOYEES, BASED ON MATERIAL OR WORKER REQUIREMENTS OF SPECIFIC JOBS. ESTIMATE MATERIAL OR WORKER REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE JOBS. CONFER WITH MANAGERIAL OR TECHNICAL PERSONNEL, OTHER DEPARTMENTS, OR CONTRACTORS TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS OR TO COORDINATE ACTIVITIES. COORDINATE PROJECT WITH SITE ENGINEER. ORDER OR REQUISITION MATERIALS OR SUPPLIES. ANALYZE WORKER OR PRODUCTION PROBLEMS AND RECOMMEND SOLUTIONS, SUCH AS IMPROVING PRODUCTION METHODS OR IMPLEMENTING MOTIVATIONAL PLANS. TRAIN WORKERS IN CONSTRUCTION METHODS, OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT, SAFETY PROCEDURES, OR COMPANY POLICIES. RECORD INFORMATION SUCH AS PERSONNEL, PRODUCTION, OR OPERATIONAL DATA ON SPECIFIED FORMS OR REPORTS. PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO WORKERS ENGAGED IN CONSTRUCTION OR EXTRACTION ACTIVITIES, USING HAND TOOLS OR OTHER EQUIPMENT. ARRANGE FOR REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT OR MACHINERY. Qualification Requirements: | APPLICANT MUST HAVE AT LEAST AN ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING, A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE SAME POSITION AND THE SAME CAPACITY. 3 MONTHS OF TRAINING SPECIFIED AS FOLLOWS: APPLICANT MUST BE CERTIFIED FIRE PROTECTION INSTALLER NFPA 13 AND FIRE SUPPRESSION INSTALLER NFPA 17 & 96. APPLICANT MUST HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND IN PROJECT SUPERVISION SPECIFICALLY CIVIL, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL PROJECTS. EXPERIENCE IN SUPERVISING CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS INCLUDING SUPERVISORY/LEAD RESPONSIBILITY AND MONITORING OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS. EXPERIENCE WITH VARIOUS MECHANICAL WORKS SUCH AS PIPING OF COOLING TOWERS, PUMPS, SEWER AND WATER, FIRE PROTECTION, HVAC. STRONG ANALYTICAL, DECISION MAKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. EXPERIENCE WITH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR FINISH OF BUILDINGS. CAN OPERATE THREADING MACHINE, GROOVER MACHINE. MUST HAVE GENERAL KNOWLEDGE IN READING AND INTERPRETING DRAWINGS AND BLUEPRINTS. MUST BE ABLE TO PLAN AND SUPERVISE PROJECTS PARTICULARLY FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS. MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE, SELF MOTIVATED AND HAVE EXCELLENT TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS. HARDWORKING, ABLE TO MULTI-TASK AND WORK UNDER PRESSURE. WILLING TO WORK FLEXIBLE TIME, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS IF NECESSARY. ABLE TO DRIVE AND MUST HAVE A VALID CNMI DRIVER'S LICENSE AND SELF TRANSPORTATION. |

Comments: | This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position for one (1) Project Supervisor. The work schedule will be from Monday to Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; for a minimum of 6 work hours per day.
