Job Title: | Activities Assistant |
Job Duties: | Responsible for workforce management of SEA team members throughout the day/week. Perform real time monitoring of daily coverage based on guest participation in recreation activities. Promote the rules and regulation of the recreation facility for safety and enjoyment of the guest. Ensure integrity on work assignments appropriate to guest to staffing ratio set by the department. Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Continuously review, identify and implement changes where necessary to rosters/work schedules to improve efficiency and productivity, working collaboratively with department managers to ensure that their operational needs are fully supported. Perform general office duties, filing, answer telephone, record keeping and handling routine correspondence. Works closely with the S.E.A. Director to ensure all regular and special shifts are covered for the schedule period or event planning. Maintain knowledge of business operations. Provide attraction or event information to guests and visitors. Communicate with management or other staff to resolve problems. Greet visitors and guests in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. |

Qualification Requirements: | 3 months work experience. Must be certified lifeguard. Proficient in Microsoft applications. Detail oriented and able to work fast pace environment. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, nights. Language proficient in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian an asset. |

Comments: | This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Deductions: Employer provided housing is optional for the cost of $100.00 per month (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)). Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(K)). This is a non-exempt position and is eligible to receive overtime compensation in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
