Job Title: Manager - Front Office
Job Duties: •Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manage within those approved plans•Handle guests from all over the world, mainly from Asia regions (China, Japan & Korea, etc.)•Ensure Front Desk team members are competent and effectively use up-selling techniques to maximize revenue•Efficiently resolve any issues raised by guests to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded•Ensure all operations and cash handling are done per policies and procedures•Liaise with other key departments across the hotel and delegate tasks as required to ensure the entire front line meet operational requirements.•Identify areas to improve communication and the smooth flow of information between departments•Manage, coach and develop all team members within the department to ensure competence, performance and succession objectives are met•Manage departmental and individual absenteeism and turnover levels to meet targets•Develop and organize appropriate training to ensure competency standards are maintained•Ensure guest history records and general guest information have been identified and accurately recorded in the system•Ensure that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands•Monitor and control Profit & Loss to achieve budgets goals•Maintain excellent communication with the all supporting departments•Maintain current product knowledge of events and facilities to ensure guests receive accurate, timely information and advice•Through leadership and supervision encourage behaviors that promote health and safety responsibility, accountability and awareness•Resolve guest complaints effectively and upkeep property safety and security•Adhere to all Company policies and procedures•Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors•Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: •2 years experience in front office operations at a 5 star hotel / well known property•Bachelor’s Degree Holder or equivalent working experience•Equivalent professional training is preferred•Understanding of Hotel Property Management System (preferably Opera)•Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills are preferred•Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results•Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets•Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure•Proactive and innovative problem solver•Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint•Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees•Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis•Fluent in English•Ability to communicate in Asian languages (either Chinese, Korean or Japanese)•Ability to multi-task

Comments: (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment forty (40) hours per week. Work hours start from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. (3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). (6) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, the employer will supply workers at no charge all safety clothing and equipment and will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. (7) HOUSING The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. (8)The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
