Job Title: Power Plant Maintenance Manager
Job Duties: In charge of Power Plants, Reverse Osmosis Plants, Back Up Power Generators, Chillers (Air Con) Operations, Sewerage System operations, Electrical Switch Gears operations, Water Pumps operations, Boilers/Hot Water Operation, energy consumption readings and recording, and others. Assist the Director of Engineering in all matters related to the implementation of an effective budget control. Document and report to Director of Engineering on water, gas, diesel and electricity usage and wastage. Report to the Director of Engineering any abnormal conditions noticed at any time with life safety equipment or mechanical, electrical and plumbing operation. Substitute for the Director of Engineering in all matters in any absence from duty. Prepare the shift schedule of the engineering staff. Perform at least weekly, a routine inspection of all engineering operational areas (Plant Room) and report any equipment malfunction to the Director of Engineering. Control and verify all engineering logbook entries. Supervise personally all hazardous work and ensure that all safety procedures are strictly observed in the power plant operation. Prepare monthly utility consumption report and keep constant survey of correct calibration of all utility recording instruments. Prepare purchase request and follow up with the purchasing and vendors. Prepare and conduct energy conservation orientation training for new employees in cooperation with the Training Manager and follow up with refresher training classes as condition warrant. Assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum skills. Perform duties outside the scope of the position in case of emergency, when called upon.

Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field or two to five years management experience in a power plant environment. Must be able to work variable schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
