Job Title: Facilities and Repair Maintenance Manager
Job Duties: Responsible for Rooms Preventative Maintenance Schedule, Building Repair and Maintenance, Landscaping and Gardening, Banquet, Restaurant and Kitchen Repair and Maintenance, Public Area Repair and Maintenance, Swimming Pool Repair and Maintenance, Concessionaires Repair and Maintenance, set up of banquet requirement and others. Assist the Director of Engineering in all matters related to the implementation of an effective budget control. Report to Director of Engineering any abnormal conditions noticed at any time with life safety equipment or installation. Substitute for the Director of Engineering in all matters in any absence from duty. Prepare work schedules in accordance with workload and priorities of the resort. Perform at least weekly, a routine inspection of the resort, building, public area, kitchen and report any defects or abnormalities to Director of Engineering. Supervise personally all hazardous work and ensure that all safety procedures are strictly observe and followed. Check timely completion of maintenance requests paying attention to guest related jobs. Prepare purchase request and follow up with purchasing and vendors. Prepare of planned preventative maintenance and guest room servicing procedure. Provide cost and time estimates for all projects and work requests. Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and the resort’s procedures regarding guest contact and safety. Coordinate the engineering and maintenance work with other department resort departments. Assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency. Be on call after normal working hours and coordinate trades person after hours if necessary.

Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field or 1-2 years facilities and repair management experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to work variable schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
