Job Title: | Supervisor (Food Service) |
Job Duties: | Directly supervise stockers, cashiers, and sales clerks in a retail and market establishment or cashiers in a food service establishment. Duties may include management functions, provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods. Assign employees to specific duties. Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers. Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level. Keep records of purchases, sales, and requisitions. Enforce safety, health, and security rules. Examine products purchased for resale or received for storage to assess the condition of each product or item. Hire, train, and evaluate personnel in sales or marketing establishments, promoting or firing workers when appropriate. Perform work activities of subordinates, such as cleaning and organizing shelves and displays and selling merchandise. Does other related duties as assigned from time to time. |

Comments: | The place of employment will be at Garapan, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
