Job Title: Material Moving Driver
Job Duties: Set up and inspect material moving equipment. Control equipment with levers, wheels, or foot pedals. Move material according to a plan or schedule. Signal and direct workers to load, unload, and position materials. Keep a record of the material they move and where they move it to. Use tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machinery, or other heavy objects. Adjust hand wheels and depress pedals to control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, and swing booms. Drive, maneuver, or control heavy machinery. Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met. Make minor repairs to their equipment. Does other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualification Requirements: Must obtain a CNMI Driver's License. Must have at least six months related work experience. A high school graduate or GED with some vocational training. Must pass drug screening. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays on short notice.

Comments: The place of employment will be at Kannat Tabla, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
