| Job Duties: | Oversee the operation of computer hardware systems, including coordinating and scheduling the use of computer terminals and networks to ensure efficient use. Checks mainframe computer system malfunctions with the operators and uses a more extensive knowledge of computer operations in diagnosing and restarting the system. Maintaining, upgrading and expanding all network / data / information systems, including hardware, software, server and network equipment. Maintaining the company internet connection and supporting for all users in the company intranet. Enter commands, using computer terminal, and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment to integrate and operate equipment. Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance. Answer telephone calls to assist computer users encountering problems. Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program. Retrieve, separate, and sort program output as needed, and send data to specified users. Record information such as computer operating time, problems that occurred, and actions taken. Notify supervisor or computer maintenance technicians of equipment malfunctions. Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports. Supervise and train peripheral equipment operators and computer operator trainees. Read job set-up instructions to determine equipment to be used, order of use, material such as disks and paper to be loaded, and control settings. Help programmers and systems analysts test and debug new programs. Load peripheral equipment with selected materials for operating runs, or oversee loading of peripheral equipment by peripheral equipment operators. |

| Comments: | WORLD CORPORATION dba SAIPAN WORLD RESORT is looking to fill one (1) COMPUTER SPECIALIST position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Work will be performed only at SAIPAN WORLD RESORT, Susupe, Beach Road, Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from 10/01/2019 to 09/30/2022. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Worker will be paid no less than $12.48 per hour. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week, depending on weather conditions. Work on weekends may be required. Hourly work schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Transportation: The employer will not provide daily transportation to and from the worksite locations in Saipan. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: The employer will not provide board, lodging, or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by federal and local law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law. The employer will not provide on-the-job training.
