| Job Duties: | Must be able to keep buildings in clean and orderly condition at all times. Must perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and windows, and removing any rubbish. Duties may include lifting over 50 lbs. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, cleaning debris from sidewalks entrances, and aisles. Service, clean, and supply restrooms and common areas on a daily basis. Gather and empty trash bins. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follow procedures and safety instructions for use of chemical cleaners and power equipments in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to buildings. Possibly perform other assigned related task on occasion. |
