Job Title: First Line Supervisor/Dining
Job Duties: Directly supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in preparing and serving food. Train workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures. Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift. Perform various financial activities such as cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll. Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities. Resolve customer complaints regarding food service. Control inventories of food, equipment, small ware, and liquor, and report shortages to designated personnel. Purchase or requisition supplies and equipment needed to ensure quality and timely delivery of services. Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and complete disciplinary write-ups. In charge of making a weekly schedule, control Labor hours (Front of the House and Back of the House), Expense control, Monthly Inventory, analyzing any discrepancies Food & Beverage costing and knowledge of calculation. Familiar with excel file, especially making new excel sheets with formulas. Schedule parties and take reservations.

Qualification Requirements: Must be a High School graduate. Must have sufficient knowledge on computer to do daily reports. Performs personnel action such as hiring, providing employee orientation and training, conducting supervisory activities such as creating work schedules or organizing employee time sheet. Recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety. Record production, operational and personnel data on specified forms. Develop equipment maintenance schedules and arrange for repair. Evaluate new product, food and non-food for usefulness and suitability. Forecast staff, equipment and supplies requirements based from present and future guest flow. Ability to handle various customer complain. Control inventory of food, equipment, small ware and liquor and other items such as uniforms that needed monthly inventory report. Purchase or requisition supplies and equipment needed to ensure quality and timely delivery of service. Observe and evaluate workers and procedures to ensure quality standards and service and can complete disciplinary write ups. Assign duties and responsibilities on specific shift to employees in accordance with the work requirements. Can do basic kitchen preparation and cooking during busy situations.

Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position and must have at least 12 months work experience. Work days will be Monday-Sunday (one day-off), and work hours will be from 9am to 10:00pm. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in it's extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
