Job Title: Public Area Manager
Job Duties: •Effective and efficient management of public area cleaning programs, these areas include casino, F&B outlets, external and car parks, washrooms, waste depot and all back of house staff facilities •Managing the day to day operations of the department with the ability to maximize productivity and minimize operating costs •Coordinate all cleaning activities with relevant departments to achieve desired results with minimum disruption to the Casino, F&B and Hotel operations•Coordinate training programs for cleaning and waste depot, fostering the career development of all team members •Development and continuous improvement of Standard Operating and Emergency Procedures for all public area cleaning activities •Implementation and monitoring of quality assurance program to ensure consistent cleaning standards are maintained throughout the complex •Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained for each shift rotation to meet the cleaning demands and maintain five star services standards •Manage waste recycling programs including selling the message to the staff •Ensure cleaning staff adhere to all security procedures and practices and follow grooming standards •Ensure employees have a complete understanding of rules and regulations, and they comply with them. •To effectively communicate guiding principles and core values to all levels of employees •To ensure all cleaning staff on shift complies with established grooming standards•Oversee department administration and paperwork •Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors •Interact with department and team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively. •Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications. •Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. •Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: •Must have 1 year experience in Public Area operations in a 5 star hotel / well-known property•Experience in Mega Resort operation is an advantage •Ability for marble, granite, vinyl floor treatment skills are an advantage •High school graduate or above •Equivalent professional training is preferred •Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills •Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results •Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets •Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure •Proactive and innovative problem solver •Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint •Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees •Able to work on flexible shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays on rotation basis •Fluent in English •Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage •Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. •Able to multi-task.

Comments: (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment forty (40) hours per week. Work hours start from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. (3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). (6) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, the employer will supply workers at no charge all safety clothing and equipment and will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. (7) HOUSING The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. (8)The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
