| Job Title: | Surveying and Mapping Technician |
| Job Duties: | Researched previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence and other record to obtain data needed for surveys. Gather field survey data using standard surveying equipment. Identify survey markers set by other surveyors. Compile gathered survey data, compute traverse closure, horizontal angles, distance, coordinates, area, elevations, curves, contours, etc and prepare final survey maps such as civil and construction, parcel survey, boundary retracement, as-built and topographic using computer programs. |
