Job Title: Guest Services Agent
Job Duties: Greet and ensure that all guests are assisted at all times in a friendly and helpful manner and attempt to learn and use guests name at every opportunity. Is always prepared to recommend first and foremost the hotels own F&B outlets before any other, making himself/herself totally familiar with the operating hours and each outlets specialty. Provide information pertaining to all hotel services, local places of interests, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours and any other information likely to be of interest to the guest. Perform check-in, check-out and room change procedures and ensure all data is entered completely into system. Handle VIP guests from all over the world, mainly from Asia regions (China, Japan & Korea, etc.). Respond to and coordinate VIP guests request for special arrangements or services by making arrangements with designated vendors or identifying appropriate providers according to department and company standards. Accompany arriving/departing guest from/to hotel and airport. Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns. Coordinate with Transportation for transportation arrangement according to guest request. Ensure the information of the airline and relevant information including weather and road conditions are kept updated and provide the information to the guests accurately and promptly Maintain cashier float and ensure accurate daily report of all money received. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Is knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures. Attend to guests complaints, inquiries and requests, and refers problems to his/her superior if he/she is unable to assist. Perform the audit balances and prepare all works for audit in an orderly fashion. Ensure that the Front Desk and Concierge counter is always in good condition and providing efficient service and accurate information to all guests. Arrange for package delivery and pickup for guests; assist with booking of tickets and luggage storage and delivery. Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to the superior. Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of 2 years or more secretarial working experience in a 5-star hotel environment or well-known property. Understanding of Hotel Property Management System Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Comments: (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment forty (40) hours per week. There are three rotating shifts per day: (A) Day Shift will be from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (B) Swing Shift will be from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. (C) Night Shift will be from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Employee hired under this announcement will be rotated through each of the three shifts. (3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5)FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). (6) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, the employer will supply workers at no charge all safety clothing and equipment and will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. (7) HOUSING The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. (8)The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
