Job Title: Duty Manager - Front Office
Job Duties: Ensure that on-going relevant logbook communication to other shifts is maintainedConduct and check the preparation of all necessary information and materials before guests arrivalEnsure guests check-in / check-out procedure is completed at their arrival / departureSupervise and check the data upload and update of in-house guest filesPrepare and check for VIPs arrival and escort guests to roomsGive the instructions to Guest Services Agent for handling walk-in guests and release room block because of no-showsAssist in handling room lock problemsCo-ordinate with all departments concerned in order to maintain Front Office functions properlyHandle guest complaints and other related problems and report on log bookAnswer guest inquiries, handle complaint and attend to the needs of the guestsSupervise the handover of Front Desk cash floatAuthorize charges to be made for late departures and/or compliments on themMaintain and be guided of hotel policy on credit/lost and found hotel guests propertiesAssign and approve duty roster for Front Desk staffFunction in place of the Manager Front Office in his/her absenceAssist in instructing new staff on Front Office dutiesAdhere to all Company policies and procedureReport accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisorsPerform other related duties as assigned

Comments: (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment forty (40) hours per week. Work hours start from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. (3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). (6) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, the employer will supply workers at no charge all safety clothing and equipment and will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. (7) HOUSING The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. (8)The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
