Job Duties: | An audit specialist provides internal audit services to a company to ensure that various departments are adhering to company guidelines and legal requirements. Audit specialists help in the progress of the company by using a systematic approach to achieve the goals set by an organization. The role of an audit specialist is highly demanding and requires handling of some of the major responsibilities which are as under: 1. Coordinate with Manager to determine audit scope and timelines. 2. Plan and perform audits such as operational, financial and compliance audits. 3. Review audit findings and develop action plans. 4. Participate in audit meetings and coordinate internal and external audit activities. 5. Develop corporate policies and procedures according to regulatory requirements. 6. Develop process improvements to improve quality and effectiveness of deliverables. 7. Interact with management to determine audit requirements. 8. Identify areas of improvements and concerns to management. 9. Develop clear and complete reports of audit procedures and findings. 10. Develop audit presentations to management as needed. 11. Review and recommend improvements to business procedures and internal controls. 12. Develop risk models to access and mitigate potential risks. 13. Maintain audit documentations according to established standards. 14. Organize audit trainings for team for skill development. 15. Develop standard tools and procedures to improve audit efficiency. 16. Keeps himself updated with the latest developments in the auditing field and prepares and conducts special studies and reports related to that field 17. Helps in the preparation of budgets 18. Maintains all the records, data and the relevant information for further reference and correspondence 19. Acts as an important link between the clients and the subordinates 20. Constantly communicates with the staff members to solve the issues related to work thus helping to improve the workflow and efficiency |

Qualification Requirements: | Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and must have at least 24 months of experience. In addition, he must have the following: Thorough knowledge of the auditing principles and practices Should have the ability and skill to perform complex mathematical computation Should be good at written and oral presentation skills Should be proficient in computers, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and peachtree accounting software Should have an ability to identify the audit problems and take corrective action Should be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with the clients and the employees within an organization The audit specialist analyzes operations and documents to ensure that they are running effectively and appropriately. The audit specialist oversees various audits, including those involving financial performance and company operations. The audit specialist must stay up to date with changes in laws to ensure that departments within the company are educated and adhere to the changes. The audit specialist should also carry out continuous research to learn about changes and trends within the field, reporting them to management to determine if changes in operations need to be carried out accordingly. Eligible candidates must adhere to the rules and regulations of the company. He/she must be in the same faith as the company so as to achieve the vision and mission of the company.He/she must be reliable, dependable, honest and a team worker. |

Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on February 29, 2020 to February 28, 2021 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Worker will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
