Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies. • Prepares corporate financial statements in a timely fashion. • Creates and maintains a series of financial controls and procedures for the Accounting department. • Conducts periodic audits of budget items, including comparing per diems to actual expenses and other budget-to-actual comparisons. • Provides relevant financial information to executive management team. • Oversees and takes responsibility for all financial procedures and records. • Maintains corporate checking accounts and invoices. • Responsible for the various ledgers including cash disbursements, cash receipts, accounts payable, month-end payroll summary, accounts receivable summary, and journal entries to adjust the general ledger. • Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources. • Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed. • Represent clients before taxing authorities and provide support during litigation involving financial issues. • Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property. • Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions. • Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting and other financial staff, recommending and implementing personnel actions, such as promotions and dismissals. • Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and external accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities. • Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Prepare and file annual tax returns or prepare financial information so that business affiliates can complete tax returns. • Compute, withhold, and account for all payroll deductions. • Receive cash and checks and make deposits. • Secures financial information by completing data base backups. • Generates monthly reports including accounts payable reconciliation, accounts receivable reconciliation, cash flow report, and balance sheet audits. • Performs other related duties as requested by the Chief Financial Officer or Board Members. • Hires and trains new employees in the Accounting department. • Supervises and manages the Accounting department’s assignments and priorities. • Assigns financial responsibilities in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer or Board Members. • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. • Complete other position related task(s) as assigned by Employer.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment.
