Job Title: Building & Maintenance Repairer
Job Duties: Survey buildings/establishment and repair structural, electrical & mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with local & Federal Gov’t compliance and safety standards. Perform maintenance of electrical systems such as replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc. Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary. Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs when necessary, fix locks, replace windows etc. Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide. Conduct general upkeep procedures like landscaping, ground maintenance and other tasks as assigned. Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed when doing repairs, renovations or any alterations. Do other related duties as assign from time to time.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Minimum of 2 year proven work experience as building maintenance. Must have a specific understanding of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, hydraulic and other maintenance systems. Possess knowledge of general building maintenance processes and methods. Working knowledge of construction tools, common appliances, and electrical devices. Willing to work on flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Hardworking, can work under less supervision and must be able to meet deadlines. Must be physically fit to handle all kinds of strenuous works. Must have a valid CNMI driver’s license.
