| Job Duties: | o Perform tasks involving physical labor at worksite. o Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones. o Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. o Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials. o Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities. o Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. o Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed. o Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes. o Mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixers. o Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment or to heat or move materials, such as asphalt. o Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures. o May assist other craft workers such as masons. o Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools. o Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts. o Smooth or finish freshly poured cement or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools. o Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement. o Install sewer, water, or storm drain pipes, using pipe-laying machinery or laser guidance equipment. o Operate or maintain air monitoring or other sampling devices in confined or hazardous environments. o Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces, such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring, using abrasive tools or machines. o Position, join, align, or seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections or pipes. o Tend machines that pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, plaster, or stucco through spray guns for application to ceilings or walls. o Spray materials, such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco, through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. o Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection. o clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. |

| Comments: | This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. Work hours start from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging or other facilities. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
