Job Title: Merchandise Displayer
Job Duties: Displays hardware merchandise such as accessories, furniture, tools, kitchen ware, feeds, gardening items, and household merchandises in windows, showcases and on sales floor of retail store to attract attention of prospective customers. Arranges properties, furniture, merchandise, and backdrop according to prearranged plan or own ideas. Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise or floor. Ensures all items have correct price tags as on the system. Assist customers when needed. Does other related duty as assigned from time to time. The skill comprehension exam are required equally of both domestic and foreign workers.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Previous work experience in retail preferred. Strong organizational and decision making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Commercial awareness. The applicant must pass a Merchandise Displayer Skill Testing consisting of: Performing basic calculations for inventory and other merchandising-related recordkeeping. Answering a basic literacy comprehension exam (Total Passing Score is 89%) Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work on weekends and holidays on short notice

Comments: The place of employment will be at Susupe, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
