Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Duties: Operate one or several types of power construction equipment, such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels, tractors or front-end loaders to excavate, move and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. May repair and maintain equipment making emergency adjustments or assisting with major repairs as necessary. Special wage rate: Work to be performed on DPRI-funded projects will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate, but may be paid more where special Davis-Bacon Act rates apply.
High School Diploma Required? No
Qualification Requirements: 6th grade; 1 year experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Successful applicant must be able to obtain military base access. Off-island hires must complete a pre-arrival and post-arrival health screening.
