Job Title: ACCOUNTANT
Job Duties: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards; Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, profit and loss statements, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses; Provide reports to the management regarding the finances of the company; Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts; Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems; Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information; Secures financial security by following internal controls; Assign schedule of payments to our main suppliers and our lease obligations to the CNMI government by verifying documentation; Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements; Complies with federal and local legal requirements by reviewing existing and new regulations, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions; Coordinate with the insurance company for the renewal of the company’s workers compensation, auto insurance, fire and general liability insurance, and employee’s medical insurance; Prepare and provide documentation to our external auditor for the compilation of Financial Statement; Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Must earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with at least 2 or more years working as accountant; prior experience in petroleum business is preferred; must have good communication and multitasking skills, organizational, self-motivation, responsible, and able to manage deadlines. Proficient in Sage 50 accounting system, Excel, and MS Word system.
