Job Title: General Building Maintenance Worker
Job Duties: Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, stairways and windows. Uses brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, strip and wax floors. Uses vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture or blinds. Dusts furniture and equipment. Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills. Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs. Performs touch up and finish painting. Empties wastebaskets. Replenishes restroom supplies. Replaces light bulbs. Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures. Perform routine preventive building maintenance and basic electrical repairs to ensure the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Duties may involve repairing buildings windows, doors, lights, floors, or stairs in an existing building to prevent deterioration. Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Must have at least 1 years of experience in the same position maintaining an existing building to prevent deterioration. Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Applicant must be hardworking, able to multi task and work even under pressure. Must be able to maintain cooperative attitude under stressful circumstances. Applicant must be willing to work flexible time, holidays and weekends when necessary. Must have strong organizational and follow up skills, professional presentation and attitude and ability to maintain focus while working individually. Must have strong time management skills., good knowledge of building skills including air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general building repair, adept at using a variety of hand and electrical tools. Must have the ability to climb heights, lift up to 50 lbs. and climb onto ladders.

Comments: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position for one (1) General Building Maintenance Worker. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
