Job Title: General Maintenance
Job Duties: Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of building does not deteriorate. Inspect, operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them. May occasionally perform administrative duties such as reports and presentation. Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, hotel property, restaurant and grounds. Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns. Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures. Supports hotel departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists. Assists in the supervision of temporary maintenance associates. Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations. Deals with guest related concerns and maintain the guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel. Must posses knowledgeable of basic hand/power tool operation. Diagnose mechanical problems and determined how to correct them. Checking blue prints, repaid manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Repair machine, equipment or structures, using tools such as hammers, saws, drills or wrenches. Must have knowledge of working a drain or pipe cleaning equipment, pipe or tube cutter, power drills, and power saws. Must have skills to maintain and repair equipment. Clean and maintain pool and spa area. Performs other task as determined and assigned by supervisor and management. Performed any special project or tasked assigned by Supervisor/Director and Management

Qualification Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Have at least two (2) years of work related experience as General Maintenance. Able to demonstrate specific skills: 1. Equipment Maintenance-Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. 2. Repairing-Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools. 3. Troubleshooting-Determining causes of operation errors and deciding what to do about it. 4. Critical thinking-Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. 5. Equipment Selection- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Be able and willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evening, night, weekend and holidays

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing October 01, 2020 to September 30, 2023. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first dat of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
