| Job Duties: | Fill customers mail and telephone orders from stored merchandise in accordance with specifications on sales slips or order forms. Duties include computing prices of items, completing order receipts, keeping records of incoming and out-going orders. Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves. Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors and quantities of merchandise. Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and forward incomplete orders for further processing. Inform customers by mail or telephone of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays. Obtain customer's names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enter this information on order forms. |
