Job Title: Computer Graphic Artist
Job Duties: Design or create computer graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type. Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes. Use computer software to generate new images. Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor. Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products. Prepare notes and instructions for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing. Does other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualification Requirements: Skills and experience to accomplish the above-listed responsibilities Proficiency with most of the following: windows operating system, adobe light room, adobe after effects, photoshop, illustrator, gerber Omega, scanning software, and digital photography. Must have the ability and willingness to learn the systems with which one is unfamiliar. Exceptional computer and sign-production skills Thorough knowledge of graphic design, color theory and letter forms and fonts Ability to use layout, design, measurement and production tools common to commercial and graphic artists Ability to learn the computerized maintenance management system (maximo) Ability to color match Start, operate, maintain and troubleshoot computer-graphic systems, including large format ink jet and thermal printers and plotters Manage projects to completion with minimal supervision in a professional manner with consideration of budgets and deadlines Must be highly organized and detailed oriented.

Comments: The place of employment will be at Chalan Piao, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for holiday pay, personal time and employee discounts subject to the terms & conditions The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
