Job Title: OPERATIONS MANAGER
Job Duties: - Manage HRC Saipan day to day food and beverage and retail store operations. - Meet/surpass sales budget expectations. - Manage and operate an efficient and professional operation, adhering to the company methods and standards. - Maintain strict cost controls - Ensure that appropriate staff levels are in place at all times. - Ensure to provide an authentic experience that “rocks” for the Hard Rock Cafe guests. - Provide a positive “employee life cycle” for all staff members during their tenure with Hard Rock. - Responsible for the development and retention of human capital in his department. - Manage the implementation of training programs for supervisors and staff in his department. - Supervise the performance of restaurant managers and supervisors, guiding them in their efforts on the floor and in the supervision of their staff. - Ensure that an efficient and professional team is in place at all times, replacing those that do not perform, as needed. - Ensure that customers’ expectations are met and attend to any customer complaint. - Come up with new ideas to improve the operations and/or to develop more sales or reduce costs. - Develop and maintain a positive relationship within the business and social community. - Work as a team, helping all employees to complete the required activities that ensure we blow away guest expectations. - Maintain low staff turnover rate and high morale. - Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock Café. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - People - To provide a positive “employee life cycle” for all staff members during their tenure with Hard Rock - Guest Experience - To provide an authentic experience that “rocks” for Hard Rock guests - Profit - To operate a financially profitable restaurant and retail business operation - Sales - To grow the business by using innovative sales and marketing concepts NON ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Coordinate operations between departments. - Teach/coach and document employees who fail to meet standards to maintain a high quality workforce. - Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors. - Attend client functions and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction and promote future business. - Build business/market share by thinking of new ways to promote the company and by participating in local events to increase sales and profits. - Develop and maintain positive relationships within the business and social community. - Spearhead philanthropic initiatives. - Work as a team, helping all employees to complete the required activities that ensure we blow away Guest expectations. - Maintain low staff turnover rate and high morale. - Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock. - Utilize programs designed to help Save the Planet. Duties and Responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing or administrative services. Will supervise: Sales & Marketing Manager, Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Accountants, Restaurant Supervisors, Retail Supervisors, Kitchen Supervisor, Hosts, Servers, Bartenders, Retail Sales Associates, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Kitchen Helpers, Maintenance Staff/Dishwashers

Qualification Requirements: MINIMUM - Proven track record of managerial success in a fast paced environment by possessing the experience, ability, and knowledge to move the business forward financially while focusing on the diversity of human capital. - Strong leadership behaviors coupled with the technical skill set to drive the business toward success. - Proven track record of making high quality decisions and the ability to make complex decisions. - Adherence to health/safety, food safety and alcohol consumption regulations. - Bachelor’s Degree holder or it foreign equivalent education. - Minimum of 2 + previous yrs. experience as Operations Managerial role with heavy volume exposure in a casual themed, full service restaurant LANGUAGE SKILLS - Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing. - Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas. - Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
