Job Title: RESTAURANT MANAGER
Job Duties: - Responsible for the front of the house operation of the restaurant during his/her shift. - Responsible for opening and closing the restaurant every day (during his/her shift) - This position is responsible for acting as direct supervisor for all hourly staff on during the shift in the restaurant. - Responsible for quality shift in the restaurant in order to maintain the quality of service in the restaurant. - Maintains adequate staffing levels - Helps to develop people so that they are able to take on greater responsibility. - Ensures there are no violations of Hard Rock HR policies and procedures or government laws by the staff. - Gives timely recognition of employees’ efforts in a public setting. - Keeps staff morale high - Adheres to company training standards - Hits targets sales per labor hour - Increases restaurant-to-retail conversion rate - Ensures proper execution of marketing and retail promotions and programs - Keeps guests areas clean and organized\ - Maintains equipment in a “like new” manner - Encourages people to come up with the answer, rather than giving it to them. - Conducts daily inspections of the restaurant facilities to ensure the upkeep of all furniture and equipment. Prepares requests for immediate action for any necessary repairs or replacements. - Supervises the performance of the restaurant staff (hosts, bartenders, servers and bussers). - Recommends promotions and termination of front of the house. - Plan, direct or coordinate activities of an organization or department that serves food and beverages. Will supervise: -Restaurant Supervisor -Retail Supervisor -Kitchen Supervisor -Hosts -Servers -Bartenders -Retail Sales Associates -Line Cooks -Prep Cooks -Kitchen Helpers -Maintenance Staff/Dishwashers
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: - Minimum of 2+ previous yrs. experience as Restaurant Managerial role with heavy volume exposure in a casual themed, full service restaurant - Passion for the industry with a wow the guest mentality - Ability to learn and bring "out of the box" ideas to their team - The ability to embrace and foster a diverse culture- LOVE ALL SERVE ALL- - The desire to be the best - A love for all that is Rock & Roll! - 12 months of experience as a Restaurant Manager is required.
