Job Title: Electrician
Job Duties: Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations. Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. Direct or train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools. Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors. Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools. Perform business management duties, such as maintaining records or files, preparing reports, or ordering supplies or equipment. Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets. Construct or fabricate parts, using hand tools, according to specifications. Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects. Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights or generators, placing flares, or driving needed vehicles. Provide preliminary sketches or cost estimates for materials or services.

Comments: •This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position beginning on April 15, 2019 and ending on April 14, 2020.WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. Each day is 7 working hours with pay and 1-hour duty break with no pay. Each week will have 2 full rest day. Standard salary per hour is $ 7.98 and the time work over forty (40) hours per week will be $ 11.97. JOB LOCATION Work will be performed at the Saipan Garden Resort Hotel-Saipan worksite. SINGLE WORKWEEK FOR PAY. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. FREQUENCY OF PAY Workers will be paid in bi-weekly basis by check. HOUSING AND MEAL The employer will provide housing during the employment at no cost to the employee. The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment. DEDUCTIONS The employer will make all deductions from the employee’s paycheck required by law. INOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of requirement to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the workers dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved, provided that the amount for daily subsistence will be at least $12.26 per day during travel to a maximum of $ 51.00 per day with receipts. DAILY TRANSPORTATION The employer will provide daily transportation at no charge and from the worker’s provided lodging for the duration of the employment. FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT The employer will provide workers at no charge all tolls, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, the employer will supply workers at no charge all safety clothing and equipment and will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. SAFETY EQUIPMENT Employees are required to wear protective equipment i.e. safety hat, safety shoes, goggles, or other garments or equipment at all times during the work hours at the construction site.
