Job Duties: | Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting, boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing; aligning; and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Performing preventive maintenance. Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them. Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary. Excludes "Maintenance Workers, Machinery"(49-9043) Does other duties as assigned from time to time. |

Comments: | 1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hire under this announcement will work full-time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. (3) THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the work originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) PROVISIONS OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. The employer will provide workers at no charge with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. (6) RECRUITMENT INFORMATION.
