Job Duties: Contacts representatives of business, associations, and tour groups concering available tour services. Calls for prospects to solicit business; analyze requirements of functions, outline available hotel facilities and services offered, and quotes prices. Verifies reservations by letter, or draws up contract and obtains signatures. Confers with customers and hotel department heads to plan function details, such as space requirements, publicity, time schedule, food service and decorations. May prepare mail and advance brochure to prospective customers. Performs other related duties that may be assigned.
