Job Title: Building Maintenance & Repairer
Job Duties: Survey buildings/establishments and repair mechanical systems and building conditions to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards. Perform maintenance of electrical systems such as replacing light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, design & set up electrical and panels, prepare electrical load calculation, etc. Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary. Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed. Perform manual repairs when necessary, fix locks, replace windows etc. Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide. Conduct general upkeep procedures like landscaping, ground maintenance and other tasks as assigned. Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed when doing repairs, renovations or any alterations. Do other related duties as assign from time to time.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High school graduate and has completed technical course in the jobs related fields. Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as building maintenance. Must have a specific understanding of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, hydraulic, and other maintenance systems. Possess knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. Working knowledge of construction tools, common appliances, and electrical devices. Willing to work on flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Can work under less supervision, and must be able to meet tasks deadlines. Must be physically fit to handle all kinds of strenuous works. All applicants must be able to secure the CNMI driver’s license. All applicants must attached resume, copy of diploma, education certificates, employment certification, and other related documents. Background checks and drug testing may be required during or prior to employment to all applicants.
