Job Duties: | Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests. Present menu and provide customers with general information or assistance. Inform customers about the day's special or up-sell additional products when appropriate. Take accurate food and drink orders, using POS ordering software, order slips, or memorization. check customers' IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. Describe and recommend wines to customers. Communicate dining or order details to the kitchen staff. Perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, or cold dishes, portioning desserts, and brewing coffee. Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems. Serve food and beverages. Communicate with customers to resolve complaints or ensure satisfaction. Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning. Clean and arrange tables or dining areas. Deliver checks and collect bill payments. Stock serving stations or dining areas with food or supplies. |

Fringe Benefits: | The job opportunity is a temporary, and full-time position commencing on October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2026. THREE-FOURTH GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
