Job Title: QUALITY INSPECTOR
Job Duties: -Inspect project site and evaluate contractor work to detect design malfunctions and ensure conformance to design specifications and applicable codes. -Report maintenance problems occurring at project site to supervisor and negotiate changes to resolve system conflicts. -Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required. -Record inspection or test data in Procore -Record incidents, RFIs, submittal reviews, and punch list items system. -Assist Project Manager on site. -Calculate dimensions, square footage, profile and component specifications, and material quantities using calculator or computer. -Confer with supervisor to determine project details such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, and evaluation of field conditions.

Qualification Requirements: 18 months of experience as a QUALITY INSPECTOR is required. -Competent knowledge with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Project, MS Office -Certification from Procore: Project Management, Quality & Safety, Administration, and Engineer. Certification from Procore which is applied equally to both U.S. workers and CW-1 workers.

Comments: HOFSCHNEIDER ENGINEERING CORPORATION is looking to fill one (1) QUALITY INSPECTOR position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Work will be performed only at 2nd floor, JET Building, Middle Road, Gualo Rai in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill these job openings for employment from 10/01/2023 to 09/30/2026. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Workers will be paid no less than $16.75 per hour. Overtime will be paid at a rate of 1.5 times base hourly rate. The employer will offer 35 hours of work per week, depending on weather conditions. Work on weekends may be required. Hourly work schedule is 9:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Transportation: The employer will not provide daily transportation to and from the worksite locations in Saipan. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: The employer will not provide board, lodging, or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by federal and local law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law. The employer will not provide on-the-job training.
