Job Duties: CONDUCT REGULAR INSPECTION OF PREMISES TO DETERMINE AREAS THAT NEED ATTENTION AND THEN PERFORM THE TASKS NEEDED. PERFORM PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS TO AVOID COSTLY REPAIRS. KEEP WALLS AND FLOORS CLEAN AND FREE OF STAINS, REPLACE WINDOWS, BLINDS, AND DOORS, REPAIR LEAKY FAUCETS, MAINTENANCE OF A/C UNITS, CHANGE THE FILTERS IN THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, REMOVE TRASH. REPLACING A WORN DOORKNOB, OILING A SQUEAKY HINGE, OR REPLACING A DAMAGED FLOORBOARD. INSPECT FOR BURNED-OUT LIGHT BULBS AND REPLACE THEM, INSTALL A NEW OUTLET IN A ROOM OR OFFICE, REPLACE A HARD-TO-OPERATE LOCK. FIX DAMAGED ROOF, CEILING, FENCES OR GATES. PAINT ROOMS, BUILDINGS OR PARKING LOT MARKINGS WHEN NECESSARY. NOTIFY THE MANAGER TO REQUEST THE SERVICES OF A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL WHEN NECESSARY. REPAIRING BUILDINGS, FLOORS, OR STAIRS. ASSEMBLE, INSTALL, OR REPAIR WIRING, ELECTRICAL OR ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, PIPE SYSTEMS, PLUMBING, MACHINERY, OR EQUIPMENT. CLEAN OR LUBRICATE SHAFTS, BEARINGS, GEARS, OR OTHER PARTS OF MACHINERY. ADJUST FUNCTIONAL PARTS OF DEVICES OR CONTROL INSTRUMENTS, USING HAND TOOLS, LEVELS, PLUMB BOBS, OR STRAIGHTEDGES. ORDER PARTS, SUPPLIES, OR EQUIPMENT FROM CATALOGS OR SUPPLIERS. PLAN AND LAY OUT REPAIR WORK, USING DIAGRAMS, DRAWINGS, BLUEPRINTS, MAINTENANCE MANUALS, OR SCHEMATIC DIAGRAMS. PERFORM GENERAL CLEANING DUTIES OF BUILDINGS OR PROPERTIES. PAINT OR REPAIR ROOFS, WINDOWS, DOORS, FLOORS, WOODWORK, PLASTER, DRYWALL, OR OTHER PARTS OF BUILDING STRUCTURES. RECORD TYPE AND COST OF MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR WORK. PROVIDE GROUNDS-KEEPING SERVICES, SUCH AS LANDSCAPING. FABRICATE OR REPAIR COUNTERS, BENCHES, PARTITIONS, OR OTHER WOODEN STRUCTURES, SUCH AS SHEDS ETC. OTHER TASKS AS ASSIGNED.

Qualification Requirements: MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE SAME POSITION MAINTAINING AN EXISTING BUILDING TO PREVENT DETERIORATION. CUSTOMER SERVICE,COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS ARE A MUST. APPLICANT MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI TASK. APPLICANT MUST BE WILLING TO WORK FLEXIBLE TIME, HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS WHEN NECESSARY. MUST HAVE ORGANIZATIONAL AND FOLLOW UP SKILLS, AND ABILITY TO MAINTAIN FOCUS WHILE WORKING INDIVIDUALLY. MUST HAVE TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS., GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF BUILDING SKILLS INCLUDING AIR-CONDITIONING MAINTENANCE, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, PAINTING, AND GENERAL BUILDING REPAIR, ADEPT AT USING A VARIETY OF HAND AND ELECTRICAL TOOLS. MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO CLIMB HEIGHTS, LIFT UP TO 50 LBS. AND CLIMB ONTO LADDERS. WORK HOURS WILL BE BETWEEN 8AM AND 7PM FOR A MINIMUM OF 5-6 HOURS PER DAY. Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position for six (6) General Maintenance Worker for Jineleigh Corporation. Please indicate position and JVA# being applied for. The work schedule will be from Monday to Saturday, between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM; 6 hours per day from Monday to Friday and 5 hours on Saturdays.
