Job Duties: | PREPARES FOOD ORDERS FROM CUSTOMERS BY READING THE KITCHEN RECEIPT AND COOK IT ACCORDING TO COMPANY STANDARDS. SET UP HIS/HER WORKING AREA BY PROVIDING ENOUGH STOCK SUPPLY FOR THE WHOLE DAY OPERATION. CHECK AND MAINTAIN THE CLEANLINESS AND COMPLETENESS OF THE EQUIPMENTON HIS/HER WORKING AREA. INSPECT FOOD PREPARATION AND SERVING AREAS TO ENSURE OBSERVANCE OF SAFE, SANITARY FOOD HANDLING PRACTICES. TURNOR STIR FOODS TO ENSURE EVEN COOKING. SEASON AND COOK FOOD ACCORDING TO RECIPES OR PERSONAL JUDGMENT AND EXPERIENCE. OBSERVE AND TESTFOODS TO DETERMINE IF THEY HAVE BEEN COOKED SUFFICIENTLY, USING METHODS SUCH ASTASTING, SMELLING, OR PIERCING THEM WITH UTENSILS. WEIGH, MEASURE, AND MIX INGREDIENTS ACCORDING TO RECIPES OR PERSONAL JUDGMENT, USINGVARIOUS KITCHEN UTENSILS AND EQUIPMENT. PORTION, ARRANGE, AND GARNISH FOOD AND SERVE FOOD TO WAITERS OR PATRONS. REGULATE TEMPERATURE OFOVENS, BROILERS, GRILLS AND ROASTERS. SUBSTITUTE FOR OR ASSIST OTHER COOKS DURING EMERGENCIES OR RUSH PERIODS. BAKE, ROAST, BROIL AND STEAMMEATS, FISH, VEGETABLES AND OTHER FOODS. WASH, PEEL, CUT, AND SEED FRUITS AND VEGETABLES TO PREPARE THEM FOR CONSUMPTION. PRACTICE FIFO WITHALL THEPREMIXES, PASTRY AND DAIRY PRODUCTS. PERFORMS STANDARD OPENING AND CLOSING PROCEDURES ON HER/HIS WORKING AREA BY CLEANING AND SANITIZINGHER/HIS WORKING AREA AND ITS EQUIPMENT. PERFORM OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED BY THE MANAGER OR GENERAL MANAGER. |

Qualification Requirements: | MUST BE FLEXIBLE IN SCHEDULE WHICH INCLUDES EARLY MORNING, AFTERNOON AND LATE EVENING OR WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS. MUST HAVE 12-MONTHS OFWORK RELATED EXPERIENCE AS COOK. PREVIOUS CAFE WORK EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS. HAS THE ABILITY TO DELIVER WORDS CLEARLY SO OTHERS CAN UNDERSTAND. MUST BE ABLE TO EXERT WELL-PACED MOBILITY IN LIMITED SPACE. REQUIRES MANUAL DEXTERITY TO USE AND OPERATE ALL NECESSARYEQUIPMENT. REQUIRES WORKING WITH OTHERS. |
