Job Title: CHILDCARE WORKER
Job Duties: - ASSIST IN PREPARING FOOD AND SERVING MEALS AND REFRESHMENTS TO CHILDREN. - CARE FOR CHILDREN IN INSTITUTIONAL SETTING, SUCH AS GROUP HOMES, NURSERY SCHOOLS AND DAY CARE SERVICES. - COMMUNICATE WITH CHILDREN'S PARENTS OR GUARDIANS ABOUT DAILY ACTIVITIES, BEHAVIORS, AND RELATED ISSUES. - CREATE DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE LESSON PLANS. - DISCIPLINE CHILDREN AND RECOMMEND OR INITIATE OTHER MEASURES TO CONTROL BEHAVIOR, SUCH AS CARING FOR OWN CLOTHING AND PICKING UP TOYS AND BOOKS. - DRESS CHILDREN AND CHANGE DIAPERS. - IDENTIFY SIGNS OF EMOTIONAL OR DEVELOPMENTAL PROBLEMS IN CHILDREN AND BRING THEM TO PARENTS' OR GUARDIANS' ATTENTION. - KEEP RECORDS ON INDIVIDUAL CHILDREN, INCLUDING DAILY OBSERVATIONS AND INFORMATION ABOUT ACTIVITIES, MEALS SERVED, AND MEDICATIONS ADMINISTERED. - MAINTAIN A SAFE PLAY ENVIRONMENT. - OBSERVE AND MONITOR CHILDREN'S PLAY ACTIVITIES. - ORGANIZE AND STORE TOYS AND MATERIALS TO ENSURE ORDER IN ACTIVITY AREAS. - PERFORM HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES, SUCH AS DISH WASHING, AND CHANGING OF LINENS. - REGULATE CHILDREN'S REST PERIODS. - SANITIZE TOYS AND PLAY EQUIPMENT. - STERILIZE BOTTLES AND PREPARE FORMULAS.- - SUPPORT CHILDREN'S EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, ENCOURAGING UNDERSTANDING OF OTHERS AND POSITIVE SELF-CONCEPTS

Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 and work location is Susupe Saipan. Applicant must have at least 3 months work experience. Work days will be from Monday to Friday, and work hours will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
