Job Duties: | Provide beauty services, such as shampooing, cutting, coloring, and styling hair, and massaging and treating scalp. May apply makeup, dress wigs, perform hair removal, and provide nail and skin care services. Keep work stations clean and sanitize tools. Bleach, dye, or tint hair. Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customers' instructions, hair type and facial features. Schedule client appointments. Update and maintain customer information records, such as beauty services provided. Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics. Analyze patrons' hair and other physical features to determine and recommend beauty treatment or suggest hair styles. Shampoo, rinse, condition, and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces. Order, display, and maintain supplies. Comb, brush, and spray hair or wigs to set style. Develop new styles and techniques. Apply water, setting, straightening or waving solutions to hair and use curlers, rollers, hot combs and curling irons to press and curl hair. Shape eyebrows and remove facial hair, using depilatory cream, tweezers, electrolysis or wax. Shave, trim, and shape beards and mustaches. Massage and treat scalp for hygienic and remedial purposes. Clean, shape, and polish fingernails and toenails, using files and nail polish. Apply artificial fingernails. Give facials to patrons. Other tasks as assigned. |

Qualification Requirements: | Applicant must have at least 24 months of experience in the same position. must have the ability to identify a clients hair type and recommend appropriate treatment. hair cutting and styling skills are a must. make-up application skills is required. must have the skills and knowledge to perform hair removal (e.g. facial waxing, leg or body waxing) manicures and pedicures, nail art services, including nail extensions, acrylic nails, gel nails, eyebrow shaping, including threading, tinting and plucking. facials that include cleansing, massaging and toning a client's skin; makeovers, including make up for brides and their bridal party. Must be willing to work flexible time, weekends and holidays if necessary. able to multi task and work under pressure. Must know how to operate and safely use a hair clipper, blower, diffuser, hair straightening iron, UV light, hair steamer and other beauty parlor equipment. Comments: | This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position for one (1) Beautician. The work schedule will be from Thursday to Tuesday, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM with one day off for a minimum of 35 hours per week.
