| Job Title: | Heavy Equipment Mechanic |
| Job Duties: | Operate, inspect & repair machines and heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications. Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. Repair and replace damaged or worn parts. Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment. Must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, policies and procedures. Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks. Clean and do routine maintenance of heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required. Ensure heavy equipment are safely and securely stored. Do other related duties as assigned from time to time. The job involves operating heavy equipment and workers may turn shifts in order to finish the job on deadline or as contracted time. The beneficiaries work schedule maybe be on a split shift depending on the needs of the operation wherein each beneficiary maybe scheduled Monday~Saturday, 6 hours per day from 8:00~5:00pm with 1 day off per week. Each beneficiary maybe scheduled to work 8:00am~3:00pm or 10:00am~5:00pm, with 1 hour break, or on a split shift between 8:00am~5:00pm. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High School graduate and must have a minimum of at least 2-year work-related experience. Must have specialized knowledge in operating and repair of heavy equipment machines vehicles. Must be physically fit to be able to handle strenuous work. Can work under less supervision and must be able to meet work deadlines. Willing to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Work schedule for this position is 6 hours per day where each beneficiary have different days off per week. Must have own transportation to and from work.
