Job Title: Bookkeeping, Accounting & Auditing Clerk
Job Duties: Prepare and record daily sales transactions, posting to general ledger account, summarize accounting records and analyze for the preparation of company financial statements. Receive & record daily cash or check collection. Prepare and compute required monthly Business Gross Revenue Tax and Financial Statements, bi-weekly and monthly payroll and taxes, prepare and file quarterly employer's withholding tax return and yearly company financial statements and corporate income tax return including Annual Reconciliation, Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements, Wage and Tax statement. Prepare and perform monthly bank reconciliation to ensure that all cash transactions are properly accounted for and timely recorded. Perform credit evaluation for credit insured applicants and recommend appropriate credit terms/limit. Prepare and compute accurate monthly remittance and commission rates to various insurance carriers. Prepare accounts payable and accounts receivable aging report and conduct necessary analysis. Perform all accounting functions, reviewing and ensuring quality of the accounting operations and adhering to accepted accounting principles. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements and other accounting reports and perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
High School Diploma Required? No
Qualification Requirements: Must have 24-months of work-related experience as bookkeeping, accounting and auditing clerk. Must be at least an Associate Degree in Accounting. Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel. With knowledge of financial accounting concepts and principles. Knowledge in performing any combination of routine calculating, posting to general ledger account pertaining to daily sales transaction. Must have knowledge in payroll computation, taxes - BGRT, EWRT, FICA, and annual reconciliation. Must know how to prepare and compute financial statement and corporate income tax return, W-3SS & W-2. Knowledge in preparing and performing monthly bank reconciliation. Know how to compute monthly remittance and commission rates of various insurance. Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and aging report. Flexible in performing other related duties as assigned time to time. No history or record of theft.
