Job Title: Chef De Partie
Job Duties: ASSIST HEAD CHEF IN CONTROLLING AND MONITORING ALL RESTAURANT KITCHEN SECTION. OVERSEE DAILY OPERATION IN THE KITCHEN IN THE ABSENCE OF THE HEAD CHEF. ASSIST HEAD CHEF IN CHECKING COMPLETENESS OF ALL FOOD NEEDED, EQUIPMENT, INVENTORY AND DELIVERY. ENSURING ALL KITCHEN UNIT IS CLEAN, TIDY AND SANITIZED AT ALL TIMES. ENSURE THAT ALL COMPLETED JOBS ARE FULLY CHECKED BEFORE LEAVING THE UNIT. WORK CLOSELY TO THE HEAD CHEF AND OTHER COOKS TO ENSURE THAT THE FUNCTION RUNS SMOOTHLY. DELEGATE DUTIES TO THE COOK WORKING IN THEIR SECTION. MONITOR TO MAKE SURE FOOD QUALITY, PRESENTATION AND SAFETY STANDARDS ARE BEING ADHERED TO. TROUBLESHOOTING ANY ISSUES ARISE IN EACH SECTION. WORKING WITH THE HEAD CHEF AND THE KITCHEN TEAM TO MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS IN THE QUALITY OF FOOD BOTH AS TO ITS PREPARATION AND ITS PRESENTATION. MONITOR SANITATION PRACTICES TO ENSURE THAT EMPLOYEES FOLLOW STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS. CHECK THE QUALITY OF RAW OR COOKED FOOD PRODUCTS TO ENSURE THAT STANDARDS ARE MET. ESTIMATE AMOUNTS AND COSTS OF REQUIRED SUPPLIES, SUCH AS FOOD AND INGREDIENTS. INSTRUCT COOKS OR OTHER WORKERS IN THE PREPARATION, COOKING, GARNISHING, OR PRESENTATION OF FOOD. SUPERVISE OR COORDINATE ACTIVITIES OF COOKS OR WORKERS ENGAGED IN FOOD PREPARATION. PERFORM OTHER TASK AS DETERMINED AND ASSIGNED BY THE HEAD CHEF

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on September 06, 2023 to September 05, 2024. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: required by 20 CFR655.423(j)(l); If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1))Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(k)).This is a non-exempt position and is eligible to receive overtime compensation in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
