Job Duties: | Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences. Prepare adjusting journal entries. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Report to management regarding the finances of establishment. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Maintain or examine the records of government agencies. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements. Prepare accounting and bookkeeping forms and manuals for proper control and coordination. |

Qualification Requirements: | B.S. in Business Administration-Accounting graduate. Minimum of 4 years continuous work experience and 60 months of training in this field is required. Knowledgeable in the application of generally accepted accounting principles and advice and implements system of general accounting including preparation of Financial Statements, Accounts Payable, Receivables, Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, CNMI and Federal tax and other related duties. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe, Powerpoint, etc. applications. Must be able to work under time pressure, must work flexible hours, and can work independently without supervision. |

Comments: | EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position beginning October 1, 2023 and ending September 30, 2026. WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment of at least thirty-five (35) hours per week. THREE FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT: Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.HOUSING is provided based on the availability and agreement.
