Job Title: INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN
Job Duties: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures; Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes; Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes; Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes; Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures; Use a variety of tools or equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps; Assemble, install, test or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus,or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools; Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components; Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes; Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures using devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system; Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes; Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors; Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous; Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools; Construct or fabricate parts, using handtools, according to specifications; Provide preliminary sketches or cost estimates for materials or services; Perform business management duties, such as maintaining records or files, preparing reports, canvassing price cost or ordering supplies; Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects; Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights or generators, placing flares or driving needed vehicles.

Qualification Requirements: Associate degree or Certificate from related course; 24 months of work experience in the same job category; Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing of electrical equipment; Ability to install and wiring of various prepress equipment; Ability to maintain and operate the generator set; Design knowledge of techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models; Mechanical knowledge of machines, tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance; Ability to communicate in English language, both oral and written; Ability to operate a computer to send communications and prepare required reports; Ability to perform general physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, moving whole body such climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials; Undergo safety classes; Flexible work schedule.

Comments: The job opportunity is TEMPORARY, FULL TIME. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Worker will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION and SUBSISTENCE to the work while travelling from employees origin to the place of employment, as well as provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment.
