| Job Duties: | Perform maintenance work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of a building in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; HVAC maintenance; insulating; welding; machining; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment. Install or repair heating, central airconditioning, or refrigeration systems, and other electronics home appliances such as washers, dryers. Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution. Test electrical circuits orcomponents for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Repair or replace defective equipment, components or wiring. Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants. |

KNOWLEDGEABLE IN ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OFELECTRONIC ITEMS AND HOME EQUIPMENT. KNOWS HOW TO DO TROUBLESHOOT. MUST BE FAMILIAR AND KNOW HOW TO USE HAND TOOLS, POWER TOOLS ANDOTHER EQUIPMENT. |
